* * *NetApp Storage Admin* *Location: North Chicago, IL* *Duration: 12 Months* *Job Description: * We are the Storage Operations Support team. We have a team of 5 individuals currently. This would be the 6th person joining our team. The technologies we have are *NetApp, Netbackup, Data-Domain, HP-EVA's, SAN/Brocade, and Hitachi*. We have 2 Data Centers. One in Illinois and the other in Ohio. One team members is in Ohio, while the other 4 are in Illinois. We are looking for a strong individual in the area of NetApp primarily and it would be great if he/she has some relevant experience with the other technology areas I have mentioned earlier. But our focus is NetApp. This individual is going to help with the day to day support of NetApp i.e. *Break-Fix: hardware, configuration issues* etc., events and error monitoring, etc etc. We do have maintenance contracts with NetApp. So should also be able to open cases and work with the backend support. We expect the individual to pick up other technology areas by shadowing the other team members. This individual is also expected (once they get comfortable and gain the team's confidence) to carry our pager. Everyone is on pager duty for a week. So currently with a team of 5 people, they carry the pager every 5th week.
