Required Skills:
Strong Java and Object Oriented software design skills required.
Proficiency with Swing and a good understanding of user
interface design and usability concepts is required. Experience with UI
design tools
(JFormDesigner, Matisse) is strongly desired.
Tcl experience is strongly desired.
Must have expertise with Client/Server application
development. RMI is a plus.
Experience working on Network or Element management
systems, or embedded devices is desirable.
Knowledge of Ethernet and layer 2-4 networking technologies
is desirable.
Knowledge/experience with perl, XML and Web application
development technologies such as PHP, HTTP server, HTML, and Javascript is
a plus.
Requires a strong background in OO SW design,
documentation, implementation, JUnit, and unit/release testing.
Must have a good understanding of software development
tools & processes including Eclipse/IntelliJ, ant, junit, CI builds,
revision control, and
defect tracking.
Agile/Scrum experience desirable.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Computer
Engineering or Computer Science with at least 8 years of relevant industry
experience.
