Description:*

·         *More than 8 years of combined systems, storage and backup
administration experience in large production environments***

·         8-10 years of experience with enterprise Fiber channel and
Ethernet storage networks (*SAN*)

·         Expert scripting skills in one of the following languages
(ksh/bash/perl/SQL)

·         Expert Knowledge of backup/recovery using NetApp data protection
suite (SnapVault, SnapMirror, OSSV)

·         Expert in data storage protocols including CIFS, FC, FCoE, iSCSI,
and NFS

·         Knowledge of TCP/IP networking DNS, LDAP, NFS, SMTP, Linux
Account Management

·         Extensive knowledge of storage in highly virtualized VMware
environments

·         Must have good network concepts and the ability to manage
multiple routes on a filer

·         Must be able to perform global maintenance of all SANs including
Production, QA, and Patch

   - *SAN Storage* Tiering Implementation for design and solutions support.



*Duties:*

   - Administration of multiple *SAN* Storage Arrays and Fabrics
   - Produce monthly storage utilization reports
   - Assist in troubleshooting Storage related issues
   - Perform allocations of *SAN* space
   - Manage and configure replication between storage frames and sites
   - Work with applications teams to determine optimal layout of devices
   - Assist with upgrades and data migrations
   - Interact with other I.T. and Business teams to define requirements and
   deliverables
   - Monitor *SAN* performance and identify bottlenecks
   - Define business continuity process and maintain documentation
   - Evaluation of new storage technologies
