SQL Server DBA/Analyst

*Required skills: *
· Senior SQL Server DBA/Analyst to help with Data Center migration
mapping and project plan.
· Working with Technology and project teams to migrate the database
server and provide technical guidance during all phases of the development
process
· Developing a security scheme for the database environment, as
well as assisting in disaster recovery if necessary
· Work closely with the data team to design and optimize ETL
(Extraction Transformation and Load) processes
· Developing/documenting validation scenarios and testing them
oDesign and process documentation
· Ensuring adherence to compliance, regulations and policies. Basic
qualifications 7+ years database administration/architecture experience.
Minimum Qualifications Experience in Migrating the SQL Server 2005 to SQL
Server 2008
· Demonstrated experience developing and installing SQL Server
Integration Services(SSIS) oProficient with SQL Server tools, including
Enterprise Manager, Management Studio, Query Analyzer, SQL Profiler and SQL
Server Agent.
· Systems migration, conversion experience oUnderstand apply ETL
concepts
· Create and manage jobs using Autosys oExperience with backend
systems, databases and data oAttention to detail and quality with an
ability to keep larger goals in mind.
· Self starter - must be able to work efficiently and independently
in a fast paced environment.
· Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communications Preferred
Qualifications
· Experience with quality assurance and testing processes
· Experience interacting with multiple levels of staff and
management
· Knowledge of financial services/banking industry a plus
