The job details are as follows. *Title: Datacom Application Tester* Location: New Jersey Duration: 6+ Months *Job Description:* Strong understanding of Broadband access technologies like PON, GPON, FTTx, DSL? Strong understanding of routing and switching. Must understand GPON, Fiber-to-the-Network, G.984 standards, ONT, OLT< MDU? Hands on experience with Ericsson BLM 1500, Calix, Adtran, GPON or ALU 7304 GPON switches is a must? Strong understanding of ATM, TDM, PPPoX, Ethernet VLAN, LAG, GE, 10GE, VDSL2, VoIP/SIP protocols? Experience with testing and creating test plans is a must ; ability to identify defects and provide root cause? Hands on experience with NMS, EMS for GPON is a must (ASAM, ISAM, NetAct)? Understanding of GPON based services like VoIP, IPTV, HSI and its related configuration & deployment testing, troubleshooting? Familiar and experience with FCAPS related functionalities (provisioning, Template, Inventory, SLA, migration, performance, Security, Alarms/events, topology views)? Good understanding of application protocols ? HTTP, SSL, RTMP, RTSP, DNS? Experience wi Skill and Experience Details: -->Datacom(L2)-Should have very good understanding of various processes related to testing. Should have good knowledge and expertise in various Layer2 and Layer3 networking protocols. Should be able to understand requirements and come up with test cases for L2/L3 protocols testing. Should have extensive debugging skills. -->Application Testing(L3)-Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases. Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool. Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.
