*JD - Position # 1: WAS Admin*
- Mandatory Technology: Websphere Application Server V7 & V8, IBM Http
Server, Wily Introscope, Linux
- Optional Technology: IBM Portal Server & Business Process Manager
- Creation and configuration of Cluster, JDBC, Data Source etc
- Exposure on handling production issues like Application outage,
thread hung, Out of memory etc
- Configuration of Application server with Wily Introscope
- Migration of Websphere application from one version to higher
version
- Configure SSL, SSO & Global Security in Websphere environment
- Configure Webserver with Application Server
- Exposure on operating system like Solaris, Linux etc
*JD - Position # 2: Portal/Commerce Admin*
- WebSphere Portal Administrations experience with advanced knowledge
of WebSphere Application Server Administration
- o Note: An ideal candidate is someone with the ability to
administer the entire
- eCommerce platform stack (WebSphere Portal, WCM, WAS and Commerce)
- Minimum of 3 years of WebSphere Portal administration and/or at
least 5 years of WebSphere Application Server Administration experience
- o Note: Just development experience is NOT enough, however prior
development experience is a plus
- Must have the ability to learn new technologies on the job (like
Commerce and WCM, if they don't already have experience with those
technologies)
- Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
*JD - Position # 3: Endeca Admin*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or other related field
- Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas
and all system / applications administration
- Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. Experience in
Endeca Administration activities like - Installation and version upgrade
- Provision the hosts available to an Endeca implementation.
Provision the applications available to an Endeca
implementation. Provision
the scripts, such as the report generator script, or a baseline
- Update script to an Endeca implementation. Configure SSL settings,
report generation, and set up a preview application for dynamic business
rule testing. Perform system operations such as running baseline
updates or
starting and stopping the MDEX Engine or Log Server
- Monitor the status of system components such as Forge, Dgidx, MDEX
Engine, Log Server, and Report Generator
- Managing Users, Setting up Users, roles, and permissions, Assigning
rule group permissions.
- Managing System Operations, Backing up and restoring an Endeca
project, Performing system operations. Monitoring the system status
- LDAP Integration SSL Configuration Good troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & an ability to
learn new technologies and skills quickly
- Strong Knowledge of Perl
- Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux and scripting skills
- 24x7 support for the platform is required
- Less than 5% travel required
