Appreciate your understanding Responsibilities - Review functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for the creation of test plans, test cases and test scripts. - Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality. - Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems relating to quality engineering. - Develop automated tests for functional validation - Escalate issues as appropriate and track them to resolution - *Qualifications * - 6+ years' experience conducting white box test design, testing techniques and e2e data/database testing - Strong development experience with any of the following Object Oriented Languages (OOD): Java/J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Python, or sometimes C++. - Strong linux experience and familiar with BASH - Experience testing web services (REST or SOAP). - Desired experience with automation tools such as TestNG, DBUnit - BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience. - Excellent technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills - Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong SQL skills - Self-directed and self-motivated individual who takes complete ownership of the product and its outcome.
