Title: Oracle and Java Developer Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6+ months Client: CSC Job Description: Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years experience. Main Responsibilities: Designs, develops and implements highly complex computer programs. Contributes to complex problem solving. Assists support personnel in locating and resolving complex problems with programs. Acts as a technical advisor as needed. Codes, tests, debugs, implements and documents highly complex programs. Develops complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Designs systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments (i.e. program code, technical documentation). Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. Prepares time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks and provides recommendations to project managers. Works with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility. Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews. Represents client in presentations/conferences. Provide impact analysis for changes to programs and systems. Research, analyze, and define business solutions of large systems scope and complexity. Prepare detailed Specifications for large complex projects and design solutions for complex business problems. Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process. Document test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problems. Serve as technical point of contact for business partners and other technology areas as needed. Work collaboratively with a team to resolve production problems. Rotate production support responsibilities. Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
