Job Position: Telecom OSS Tester Location: Plano, TX Experience Required: - 5 years Duration: 12+ month Rate: $27/hr c2c Skills: Strong Analytical Skills, Self-Motivated and Self-Learning, Strong background of SDLC, Good Testing Concepts, Unix- Shell/Perl Scripting and Database- Oracle. Additional Skills required: • Experience of Testing process / Test Lifecycle (Test Planning, Test Case writing, Test execution, Reporting, Result logging etc.) • Knowledge of Quality Center • Familiarity with HP Test Center • Technical – Hands on experience of Database, SQL Queries and PROCEDURE writing w.r.t testing. • Ability to identify and resolve problems or assist in the development of creative solutions, when necessary. • Ability to understand & analyze the business reasons behind user requirements. • Adaptable, committed to deadlines and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. • Good Knowledge of Telecom Domain in terms of Network. o Good understanding of various wireline/wireless (IPTV, VOIP, Mobility, Ethernet Services) network architecture. o Good understanding of OSS Concepts. o Basic Understanding of FCAPS. o Excellent knowledge of SNMP, TL1… network management protocols.
