*Business Analyst with **Mantas/Actimize experience*

I have a new requirement for a contracts *Business Analyst* within
Mantas/Actimize market in midtown Manhattan at an investment bank.



*Main Function*

A business analyst is required for the Market Surveillance programme as we
start the Definition phase for the US (BWA) workstream.  This role is fully
funded by the Market Surveillance programme and will be based in New York.
The location is required as the BWA business operates on a different model
from the UK requiring significant analysis work which will be more
effectively carried out in that location.  Project Artemis and the trade
monitoring gap that is expected following the outsource to Pershing brings
with it additional complexities for this programme whereby we must ensure
that our plans and solutions are in line or have a logical progression from
the tactical solution that is required this year to cover the monitoring
gap.  This provides further justification for having this role on site to
understand and document that scenario and associated processes.



*Person Requirements*

Excellent, proven Business Analysis skills and expertise:

·         Gather information, perform analysis and definition

·         Process design and process mapping, design of operating models,
gap and impact analysis and business case development

·         Able to design the solution based on the analysis completed

·         Exposure to governance, control, quality, and risk management
practices and a proven ability to effectively work across teams at all
levels

·         Thorough understanding of typical operating model and business
process paradigms as found within large organisations

·         Highly IT literate – able to understand technical models and
appreciate connectivity with business practices and operations

·         Proven track record of implementation i.e. able to translate
design to implementation tasks and activities and where necessary action
them

·         Proven track record of working effectively with Technology
suppliers to ensure technology solution meets Business objectives

·         Solid experience of employing change management best practices
and disciplines

·         In depth experience of delivering across the whole of the project
lifecycle – from Inception, Definition, Build, Test & Implementation

·         Ability to converse fluently with front office professionals

·         Working knowledge of regulatory environments/frameworks

·         Exposure to governance,  control and risk management

·         Proven ability to effectively work across teams at a senior level

·         Ability to negotiate/influence at a senior level

·         Financial industry experience e.g. Wealth Solutions Regulated
Background/Financial Industry

·         Proven  analytical ability

·         Educated to degree level to be able to meet the intellectual
demands of the job

·         Good understanding of operating models, and process design and
project planning and implementation

·         IT skills – good grasp of technology and able to ensure business
objectives are met by technology solution
