*Location: **Louisville, CO* *Duration: 12 Months* *Interview: Phone and Face to face* *Start Date: ASAP * • Ideal candidate will support our clients existing data warehouse as they transition to a new reporting environment and implement new reporting tools. • The existing data warehouse is built on Microsoft SQL Server. • This position will support current reports and infrastructure and assist with the architecture design and migration to the new reporting infrastructure. • This position will work directly with the business owners to develop solutions and support critical business applications and reporting. • You must be a self-starter, who thinks outside the box and enjoys developing innovative solutions to solve business and technology issues in a very dynamic environment. • You are comfortable working in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). • You enjoy keeping yourself updated on the rapid technological advances and help the business understand how these advances can be leveraged to improve efficiency and enable new functionality. *Responsibilities*: • Work directly and indirectly with the business owners to develop solutions using SQL Server, VB, SSIS, SSRS, SharePoint, and Office. • Solutions could be anything from an ETL job to insert data into our data mart, a SSRS report for an end user or structuring data to feed into third party reporting tools. • Develop new and support existing SSIS ETL which uses custom scripts and stored procedures. • Develop new and support existing SSRS reports of quantitative and qualitative data. • Fulfilling ad hoc data requests using SQL queries as needed. • Support end users directly when issues arise or help is requested. • Monitor the daily batch jobs for errors and completeness. • Work closely with technology partners and vendors. Denormalizing transactional data into data marts for efficient reporting. *Required Qualifications*: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • 3+ years of relevant experience required. • Experience developing and supporting ETL solutions using SSIS that include custom scripts and controls. • Experience using and developing for SQL Server or other relational database. • Experience using SSRS report server and developing and supporting sophisticated reports that include parameters, sub reports, and report parts. • Experience working with XML, text, and Excel files. • Strong analytic skills including ability to identify patterns, potential issues and then translate those into requirements. • Familiarity and comfort working through all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). • Good communication and customer service skills. • Ability to design data warehouse/data mart architecture for reporting tools. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "only.SAP" group.
