Project location: Columbus, OH
Estimated Term: 6+ months, possibility to extend
Client will hire off the phone
Requirements:
Monitoring /administration of HUS150 storage arrays, LUN provisioning &
Host group management.
Storage level dynamic pool management & Tiering management.
Manage storage level replication/Snapshots.
Performance management at the storage level like using analytics, tuning
manager, performance monitor
Troubleshoot any storage related issues.
Manage SAN switches & zoning and Troubleshoot any SAN related issues
Performance monitoring at SAN switch level.
Review Disaster recovery doc/procedure updates as necessary
Complete Various documentation as needed.
HUS150:
• 6+ years’ experience - Configuration/administration of Hitachi Modular
Storage HUS150 or Hitachi Enterprise class storage (VSP/G1000/HUSVM)
• 4+ years’ experience - Management and backup of array based Hitachi
encryption and encryption keys
• 6+ years’ experience - Complete end-to-end LUN management including
expansions, deletions, additions, and general LUN management on the Hitachi
storage platform
• 4+ years’ experience with Resolution/Troubleshooting of Hitachi SAN
disk storage issues
• Good familiarity with Hitachi Dynamic Tiering (HDT) and Hitachi
Dynamic Provision (HDP) concepts
• Excellent familiarity with Administration of iSCSI for host
connectivity to Hitachi storage
• 6+ years’ experience with Daily monitoring of Hitachi storage platform
to insure storage health using Hitachi Tuning Manager and Device Manager
products
Hitachi replication:
• 6+ years’ experience with Implementation/configuration/administration
of Hitachi TCE (TrueCopy Extended Distance), ShadowImage (SI), and
Copy-on-Write (CoW) replication technologies.
• 6+ years’ experience with Use of Hitachi CCI (command control
interface) and creation/editing of HORCM files for monitoring and making
replication additions/changes
Knowledge and experience managing IBM Tivoli Storage Manager server/IBM
Tivoli Storage Manager clients a plus.
