*Job Responsibilities:*
Serve as an Operations Analyst working in the project and maintaining
operations of Market Place Systems. The project is the focal point for
monitoring systems supporting Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE) and
supporting systems. The project focuses on coordinating the processes and
activities that monitor systems, identify incidents, report incidents, and
restore services as quickly as possible.
The primary responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Monitor the Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE) / Enterprise Identity
Management (EIDM) systems/ Data Services Hub (DSH)
- Monitors computing resources within the environment;
- Alerts system owners of degraded system status; and
- Alerts system owners, stakeholders and management of production
Severity 1 incidents
- Areas Monitored include:
- *Data Center Network (Mandatory)*
- *Infrastructure Bandwidth (Mandatory*
- Server / Infrastructure
- Applications within the environment
- Agent based Monitoring
- *Production Batch Processing (mandatory)*
- Event(s) & Alert(s) Escalation
- Notifies internal stakeholders of Severity 1 incidents received
from Baltimore Data Center (BDC) that affect the Marketplace.
- Incident identification, notifications, ticket generation,
recording, classification, investigation and the most complex diagnoses.
- Advanced troubleshooting, escalation and driving service
restoration activities helping ensure all duties from a technical and
non-technical perspective are completed in a consistent and
timely manner.
- Assist with Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration
Management, Change Coordination, etc.
*Technical Skills /Tools*: The project Operations Analyst needs to poses
sufficient technical skills to support Market Place Systems. Technical
skills include.
- Linux
- Java
- Oracle
- Network
- VMWare
- IT Process Management (ITSM / ITIL)
- Microsoft Office
The projects Operations Analyst need to have a working understanding of the
following tools.
- Remedy
- New Relic
- Gomez
- JBOSS
- Tivoli
- Google Analytics
