You will participate in all phases of the software development cycle and will be responsible for new and existing applications. You will enjoy working with the latest tools and technologies including Windows Azure, Visual Studio 2013, SQL Server, MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework and Telerik/Kendo. You will learn how to navigate and integrate successfully with our diverse high volume technology environments as our team continues to work on new project initiatives and replace/upgrade existing systems. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* • Designs codes, tests and implements complex applications using .Net, MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework, Telerik/Kendo, SQL Server and Azure. • Develops real-time applications for use in a multi-platform adaptive environment. • Integrate with multiple external/internal technologies/systems. • Participate in planning, scheduling, and the creation/execution of software system test plans; monitor test results; and take required corrective actions. *Qualifications* *Required* • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • Strong knowledge of web development methodologies using Visual Studio, Microsoft .Net and SQL Server. • Demonstrated expertise utilizing ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, C#, SQL Server, MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript to develop creative solutions in a production environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills. • Great work ethic. *Preferred* • Extensive experience writing stored procedures, • Experience with IIS management and configuration, site setup and deployment. • Experience with troubleshooting network related issues in a complex production environment. • Experience with the Git and Subversion source code management systems. • Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure environment. • Microsoft MCSD certification (preferred but not required).
