*Location: Alpharetta, GA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Interview: Phone & Face to Face* *Start Date: ASAP * • 5-7 years’ experience in building frameworks and providing automation solutions using HP QuickTest Pro (QTP) and/or Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Business Process Testing (BPT) and Selenium Webdriver. 5+ years' experience in designing and coding automation frameworks for API and web based testing. Able to develop scalable and maintainable, high-quality, and efficient automated scripts that meet requirements. • Proven knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ability to automate backend systems • Experience with automating SOAP and/or REST services is a must. Experience with Big data platforms such as Hadoop is highly preferred. • Scripting programming languages - VBScript or Javascript preferred. • Proven testing skills demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality, complex projects on time, on budget, and to specification. • Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to discuss issues and concepts with technical and business personnel. • Content expertise in the planning and execution of software testing, including hands-on testing and process improvement experience. 5+ years' experience with applying multiple test methodologies. • Ability to work in multiple complex testing environments in order to test cross-platform impacts. • Demonstrated expertise in innovating solutions to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency. *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: * · Documents automation test strategy, designs automation scripts or frameworks · Interfaces with Product Management, Project Management, Development team and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards. · Innovates process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction. · Works with QA staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute automation tests. Reports issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, documenting accordingly. Ensures that testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders. · Researches open source tools and leads or participates in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
