*Location: Fort Collins, CO* *Duration: 12 Months * *Interview: Phone & Face to Face* *Start Date: ASAP * *Responsibilities:* · Review current network architecture top to bottom and make recommendations based on industry and vendor best practices; · Implement fixes, upgrades, or changes recommended by the architecture and security teams without impacting availability; · Update network diagrams and documentation, including hardware inventory and ensure manufacturer warranty coverage on designated critical devices; · Manage wireless networks including access points and wireless LAN controllers (WLCs); · Review firewall and network configurations and match rules with requirements provided by application owners; · Work with third-party networking managed services firm for moves, adds, and changes to networking equipment; · Interface with third-party vendors regarding equipment and circuit needs; · Collaborate with third-party network engineers to establish connectivity and provide updates to project managers on a regular basis; · Report on capacity of network circuits and switches for monthly metrics; · Meet cleanliness standards for wiring and cabling in network rooms; · Investigate switch ports, firewall rules, VLANs, trunk ports, VPN/NAT rules, and other configurations; consolidate or eliminate as necessary; · Respond to after-hour outages and work towards restoring service quickly; · Bring requested system changes before the change advisory board for discussion. *Requirements:* · 5+ years of experience working hands-on with Cisco networking systems, including Cisco ASA X-series firewalls; · Knowledge of L2L IPsec VPN tunnels, routing protocols (particularly EIGRP and BGP), Catalyst and Nexus switches, IOS and NX-OS, and Cisco product lines; · Ability to plan for and speak to wide-area network circuits including MPLS/VPLS, Metro Ethernet, Fiber Optics, Microwave Wireless, and Dedicated Internet Access; · Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers, Meraki wireless access points, Cisco management tools such as Cisco Prime and Kiwi Cat Tools, and Cisco Telephony a plus; · Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for network stability, usability, and security throughout the enterprise; · Ability to communicate clearly and patiently to highly technical IT operations and security staff as well as non-technical business users and application owners; · Outstanding work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills; · Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are considered pluses; · Ability to lift 50 pounds to move computer equipment. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "only.SAP" group.
