*Desktop Management*


The Desktop Support Analyst will join a support team responsible for
providing level 1 and level 2 support to a user community comprising of
over 500 users in our New York corporate office. The candidate must be
highly motivated, organized, have excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. The candidate is also required to have a white glove customer
service approach, be a quick learner, and team oriented, with proficient
troubleshooting and problem solving skills capable of working in a fast
paced and demanding environment. The candidate must work independently with
the ability to work under pressure and assist users achieving prompt
resolution and satisfaction.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

•    Deployment setup and support of HP, Dell and Apple computer
workstations and laptops running Windows 7 and Apple OSX
•    Support maintenance of shared network printing devices consisting of
HP printers and Xerox copiers
•    Configure, support and managed of IOS and Android mobile devices and
tablets
•    Configuration setup and support of Avaya IP phones, FAX machines and
Polycom analog phones
•    Diagnose and resolve reported incidents associated with application
software and hardware equipment
•    Maintain inventory management and asset ownership of all deployed
hardware and licensed software
•    Installation and support of Microsoft office 2010 suite, Lotus Notes
client 8.5, Adobe CC and Adobe CS
•    Partner with 3rd party vendor Arkadin to schedule and support weekly
domestic and global high level video conference calls between the US,
Canada, Europe and Asia
•    Create alternative methods to correct user errors and system
inconsistencies to improve up time
•    Must be able to work well with fellow associates and be an integral
part of the team
•    May be required to perform additional duties and projects as assigned
by manager
•    Help prepare needed documentation where needed to help improve support
functions and service delivery
•    Provide weekend and after hours on-call support as part of a rotation
within the team
•    Partner with other team members to solve problems, support and
coordinate the implementation of new systems

*REQUIREMENS:*

•    Bachelor Degree in Computer Operations, Computer Science or related
field required
•    CompTIA A+ certification required
•    Minimum 5 years of experienced performing a desktop support analyst
role
•    Understanding of IPV4, static IP, DHCP reservation, network switches
and routers
•    Hands-on experience and knowledge of Polycom HDX video conferencing
units and Crestron controllers
•    Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Avaya VoIP phones and
PBX phone system
•    Hands-on experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows Deployment
Server (WDS), Microsoft Bitlocker encryption, LANDesk PC management tool,
Casper Suite for MAC management tool, Airwatch mobile device management
tool is required
•    Hands-on experience working with Service Now asset management tool and
ITSM ticketing system
•    Experience with server management, Active Directory, Group Policy and
Security Groups a plus
