*The customer expects the Dev Ops Solution Architect to be a technical
champion for DevOps practices across the organization, providing coaching,
mentoring, and technical support for Engineering Excellence program and to
play an integral role in Planning, developing, executing and implementing
Organization’s Dev Ops Strategy by working with different development teams
across the Organization *
*Experience Required *
*· Excellent communication skills required. · 12+ Years of
experience in a Development Operations organization leading, administering,
building and maintaining an automation environment · Experience with
automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools
– Jenkins, Cucumber, Maven, Ant etc. · Extensive knowledge of
software development and software testing methodologies along with change
and configuration management practices in multiple environments ·
Strong experience in DevOps practices across the organization, providing
coaching, mentoring, and technical support for Engineering Excellence
collaboratively · Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous
Integration and Continuous Delivery environments · Advise business
and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s
infrastructure and automation business requirements into executable
technology solutions · Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best
practices with Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling Groups, and Configuration
Management · Strong familiarity with TFS 2012/13/15 and GIT version
control systems as software configuration management and Source Code
Lifecycle Management tools preferred · Excellent knowledge of cloud
environments and how to implement cloud strategies · Strong
scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Perl,) · Experience in architecting
configuration management, software development or related discipline ·
Strong Knowledge and expertise in DevOps solution delivery and strategy
· Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Puppet,
Chef, Ansible) · Proficient in MS Build and/or Urban Code Deploy for
automated Build-Release processes · Solid knowledge of design
patterns and refactoring concepts · Extensive knowledge in various
branching/merging methodologies and release procedures · Practical
expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems
analysis *
*· Functional Skills / Responsibilities *
*· Serve as the technical champion for DevOps practices across the
organization, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical support for
Engineering Excellence collaboratively · Implement, maintain, and
