·         Previous experience in providing business intelligence
development services to adverse set of business functions is highly valued.

·         Preferred is actual experience in the direct use of business
intelligence development tools in providing applications that enhance
decision making capability.

·         The use of Microsoft Business intelligence tools such as
SharePoint, Power Pivot and Power View is highly valued.

·         General knowledge of database architectures used in BI
applications such as Microsoft SQL used in model centric data architecture
designs is very useful.





*Detailed Responsibilities*

* Provides a design that best capitalizes on the capabilities of the
business intelligence tool set being used while

ensuring future supportability and ease of maintenance.

* Understanding of business data and how various business functions utilize
that data; how to best apply

business rules to data for different business functions.

* Evaluates existing delivery of data and works with the BI Analyst to
ensure that the desired information is

presented in such a way as to expedite value and time critical decisions.

* Collaborates with the BI Analyst and the BI Database Administrator to
ensure that the application performance

and system integrity targets are obtained.

* Ensures that the applications being developed are thoroughly tested and
that results are vetted against known

sources of data. When discrepancies arise, collaborates with peers in the
Business Intelligence Competency

Center to come to a resolution.
