11. *San Giovanni* [Bloodlines: the Chosen] a. San Giovanni zombies follow the same base rules as a retainer and are Low Approval. If a San Giovanni's mortal/ ghoul retainer dies they may resurrect it under zombie creation rules at no extra cost.
Note: Not an MC1 retainer. No MC points go into it. Just wanted to make that clarification even though I am sure Robert didn't mean to imply that. Brian likes to make this argument (and I am surprised he didn't) is that it says they follow the same base rules as a retainer. When making a character sheet you make the mortal first then add the supernatural template to it. For our zombies the supernatural template would be what is described in the Chosen book (ie wipe the stats down to nothing). Ric will argue the opposite but it is all up to your ST's interpretation until the NST or MST makes the rule a little clearer. Is there nothing in the zombie description from the Chosen book that describes how they act? That would be the place we would pull from since there are various ways to make zombies and we need to go with the method that we use. The stuff from the LS zombies might not apply to how our zombies act since they use Theban to make them. Not all zombies are created equal. :) Best bet is to talk to your local ST since they would be considered a retainer and therefore the VST is responsible for making the sheet.
