I actually play a firearms combat monkey so let me let you in on my cheese...
* Auspex 1 is great cause when used it can grant anywhere from a +1 to +3 die bonus to your attack depending on the ST. * Dex 5 (A MUST!) * Firearms 5 (A MUST!) * Spend Blood to Raise Dex (A Must!) 1 dot = +2 so higher BP really becomes your friend. * get a good weapon! Most crossbows typically give anywhere from +3 to +4 if you're lucky * specialize in a type of Firearms. I specialize in Crossbows, for the obvious reason( +1) So your total pool, if you're BP 1 is (~1-3)+5+5+(2+)+(2~4)+1 = 16~18+ die Pool. Finally, make sure that you get the Quick Draw and Gunslinger Merit. QD will allow you to pull and fire a weapon on the same turn, or reload and fire. Gunslinger will let you roll 2x and use the better of the two draws. Oh and if you're going with Two-gun slinging, get the ambidextrous merit that way you remove the offhand penalty.
