yeah i have to agree. if your going to play a toon on good terms with the
family you should be bloodlined in the family.

that said, there is something to be said for the conditioning idea. heck there
is a new merit in the mekhet book that is a mundane version (hypinosis). i see
it possable that a family member that was not considered good enough for the
embrace could be lured away from the family and tuned to another blloodline
with a bit of conditiconditioning and some social manipulation.

Concept to consider: A family member that was not chosen gets suduced buy an
outsider and embraced then comes to the family looking to join the bloodline.
scored cause he/ she was not chosen but went outside the family, could be on
semi- ok terms with the family, even after choosing a diffrent bloodline when
decades of pleading with the family dosent work.  could be intresting to devlop

just a few thoughts

Unfortuantely this storyline also played out in the Cam and really soured a lot
of player's attitudes towards these kinds of concepts.

those players who take their toons down this road usually don't enjoy their
Sangiovanni Experience.

With the way the Family is supposed to work, the only way I can see that a
Sangiovanni should really end up as anything but a Sangiovanni would be if they
were abducted and 'convinced' as there really isn't a way to force someone to
Avus into another bloodline that I am aware of.  I suppose it would be possible
to use conditioning long term to change someone's attitudes but to keep them as
an active member of the Family? *shrugs* just really don't see that happening.
