Hello,
We have been testing OOH323 from Asterisk add-ons 1.2.1 with a good
degree of success.
We only noticed incompatibilities when we try to negotiate calls with
gateways which do not state G729A explicitly in their media capabilities
during negotiation, because OOH323 mentions only G729A in its media
capabilities, and not other G729 codec.
Is there a way to add more (or all) flavors of G729 so that call
negotiation can proceed without problems with gateways which do not
mention G729A in their media capabilities?
It should really make no difference whether G729A or any other G729
codec is used to transcode, as according to the standards, all G729
codecs should be bitstream compatible... We only need to facilitate the
H245 negotiation...
