Hi,
Thanks for your efforts and support. I have
installed Asterisk and ooh323 and able to make call both ways using gateway
option. ie., keeping Asterisk as gateway
I am able to originate calls from SIP client to
H323 clients like Cisco, Open phone and SJ phone. Reverse direction also
possible.
However, I like to integrate GNUGK with Asterisk
and make calls in the following scenerio:
H323gateway---GNUGK------Asterisk&ooh323-----SIPclients
(Asterisk and GNUGK are in same network but in
different servers with private IP)
1. Calls from H323 to SIP --- SIP client rings,
rings if answer the call immediately call get disconnected.
2. Calls from SIP to H323 --- H323 client ring once
and call get disconnected automatically.
I know there is a problem in my GNUGK
gatekeeper.ini file and Asterisk ooh323.conf file, and request the forum to give
the correct syntax for the following:
GNUGK -- 1. any thing related to proxy to enable
and how?
2. any specific feature to enable , if yes, what?
Asterisk -- 1. Asterisk registers with GNUGK with
proper prefix and GNUGK send the call to asterisk based on prefix. But to
send calls to Gnugk, how to give dial(ooh323/????) statement in
extensions.conf. Whether ???? is to be GNUGK h323ID or any other host
configured with type = peer or h323. (problem with me is I don't know
the true difference of peer/friend vs h323)
Is there any gkrouted=enable statement needed in
ooh323.conf?
Thanks for the patience to read my long letter and
waiting for the assistance.
