In the old days when Apache == the webserver, there was once a list of commercial support folks, with standard no-endorsement caveats. That inevitably started to get out-of-date, and withered on the vine. Trouble is, an open-to-all list invites not just chancer/wannabes but also spammers, while a more restrictive policy is sure to generate ill-will around edge-cases for inclusion, and "it's obvious to me" cases. -- Nick Kew
