Definitely worth migrating over IMO, it allows data to flow without clogging mailing lists. I run my webmink.net aggregator using code from Roller rather than PlanetPlanet, but as they say how hard can it be :-) I'd be happy to help but I don't think I have access to any means to do so here, so my +1 will probably have to stay platonic.
