Option --without-ppds realy needed?

Hi at all

In configure.in is a option called --without-ppds. This option is to 
disable the Postscript stuff for systems who don't use Postscript. But 
as far I know, we switched the OpenOffice.org printer output from 
Postscript to PDF for all plattforms. So this option is no longer needed 
and can be deleted? Has sameone more informations about this.
