[CODE] issue 118608: IP clearance: Remove cppunit source

Hi all,

Another category-x licensed library is gone.  A pre-installed cppunit 
can be used instead. The gnu make build system needed some convincing to 
accept this change, though.

Would anybody like to review and commit?
