There have been reported some annoyances by a few users using Lion but nothing that could prevent you from using OpenOffice.org :-) In case of a small error window popping up instead of starting OpenOffice, mostly if you had installed a previous Version of OOo on a previous version of Mac OS X then deleting the user preferences (located in your users Library/Application Support/OpenOffice.org folder) should help Also there is no support for Versions, Full-Screen, and Resume in OS X Lion.
