I think that these icons are really cool.

I disagree about waiting to ask the designer about the license. If the designer 
is not willing to use the Apache LIcense then we shouldn't take any of our time 
on these designs. I commented on the issues and asked that the 0dd0ne be asked 
about the license.

I wouldn't want to be required to go to the designer with any necessary changes 
or derivative works. For instance I was confused by the Draw icon because it 
actually made me think of writer.

We need to make clear to everyone that contributions to the BZ are under the 
Apache License.

(I also realize that we don't want to discuss the merits of licenses.)
