Michael, Even though this is the first time I would be using OpenOffice, I am already pissed off at the unethical behavior of these individuals. I have provided a link below that should get you and every one started. Would it help to file a single case pointing at multi-user copyright breach? Even with the Public License, would the Digital Millennium Copyright Act apply in legal proceedings? I am not legal man, but I thought it could be relevant. There is also the issue of ethics with a normally free program being sold, that could also help you.
I hope this helps. http://ocs.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?CustomerSupport Respectfully, Jonathan Allen On 2/22/12 5:57 PM, "Michael Halsall" <[email protected]> wrote: >Hi there, I would just like to let you know that there are quite a lot >of people who are selling openoffice.org on ebay and I hope you can >report this to ebay and stop it as I understand your software is >supposed to be free. > >Click here to see what I mean, alternatively just go to ebay and search >for open office. > >http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=o >pen+office&_sacat=See-All-Categories ><http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw= >open+office&_sacat=See-All-Categories> > > >Kind regards, > >Michael >
