I wasn't able to reproduce the issue [1] on my XP but have prepared a new
test version under http://people.apache.org/~jsc/developer-
snapshots/windows/OOo_3.4.0_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe
including the redistributables.
Maybe somebody with the problem can try to install this version but it is
based on an older revision (1296126). I had some problems with my Windows
environment and it was very slow. So I decided to recycle an existing one
to
save some time ;-)
