it is indeed a missing feature but we can't change it for now. But if
somebody is interested to build it as an extension and host it somewhere
else we will give support here how to do that.

The problem is the Pentaho stuff: a bunch of libraries from an
independent project that are LGPL'd. I tried to contact them
but there was no response.
The MySQL connector is also copyleft with a commercial
version available. It would really be nice to have that
stuff available as extensions.
