in my copy of svn trunk libintl.h is found in
main/hunspell/unxmacxi.pro/misc/build/hunspell-1.2.9/intl

I heve no such file... strange.

There is a make target for libintl.h in the intl/Makefile

When you go into the intl directory, run
  make clean
then
  make
you should have a libintl.h I think.
