I think this issue is valid for 3.4.1 because it will save a lot of
space and will clean up the mass.
IMHO the urgency of the summary bug has been reduced because the
important sub-problem of this task has already been fixed by Andre in
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=120082 That issue is
already on the 3.4.1 track.
