Nobody is speaking about integrating OpenJDK or OpenJFX into the AOO source, or integrating the AOO source into OJFX. AFAIK the license of the runtime and the license of the VM are different things. You can write a GPL app that runs on top of a Apache licensed VM, an Apache licensed app that runs on top of a GPL licensed VM, and a propietary app that runs on top of a GPL or non-GPL VM. Thus, IMHO, JavaFX can be used to create all kinds of apps, regardless of license. I have seen JFX apps with BSD license, and JFX apps with GPL license. Kind regards, FC
