product name of the dev snapshot build is "OOo-DEV", different from the stable build "openoffice.org", thus it will not replace the installed aoo 3.4, that means we cannot upgrade from Aoo 3.4 to dev snapshot build.
on Linux, the snapshot build doesn't provide the desktop integration package.
