[email protected] <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |WORKSFORME --- Comment #3 from [email protected] <[email protected]> 2011-12-14 09:31:51 UTC --- (In reply to comment #2) >Please try with the recent version 3.3.0 (or 3.4.0 beta as TJ mentioned). 3.1.1 >is already too old to test and confirm. Thanks. Many thanks for your very quick response, and for all your OOo efforts in general. I apologise that I hadn't been using the most current version; I actually had been unaware, till I googled for a place to file the bug report, of the transfer from Oracle to Apache and the subsequent released versions. I have downloaded and installed 3.4.0 beta on my Mac OS 10.6.8 system. It opens the problematic file with no difficulty - so somewhere in the intervening code changes this bug must have been addressed (or at least covered up :) ). I will mark this issue RESOLVED below. May I also add, incidentally, that the OOo developers may want to point the broken links at "http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/submission_gateway.html" to Apache Bugzilla. They currently point to the nonexistent script "http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi" - and a Google search for 'OpenOffice bug report' points to this page and not (in the first few results) to the Apache Bugzilla page. If this issue isn't resolved, you may have many users trying to submit bug reports and giving up. Again many thanks for all that you do. -- Configure bugmail: https://issues.apache.org/ooo/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
