Take a Draw document.
Insert a svg graphic in linked kind. Notice in the statusbar the text "SVG
selected".
Goto Edit > Links... and click on 'Update' and then on 'Close'.
Notice, that the svg graphic is replaced with a poor bitmap. Notice the text
"Linked bitmap with transparency selected" in the statusbar.
The link to the svg graphic still exists and will be used on reload, but you
cannot get back the rendering as svg-graphic. You need to save and reload the
document to repair the rendering.
