The installation wizard reaches the point where the message reads; " Please
wait while the Installation Wizard installs OpenOffice.org 3.3. This may take
several minutes."
After about a minute another message appears reading; " Please exit
OpenOffice.org 3.2 and the OpenOffice.org 3.2 Quickstarter before you continue.
If you are using a multi-user system, also make sure that no other user has
OpenOffice.org 3.3 open." This message itself interrupts the installation.
If I respond to this message iether by clicking on "OK" or clicking the close
button then the Installation Wizard window reads; "Installation wizard
completed"
and underneath; " The wizard was interrupted before OpenOffice.org 3.3 could be
completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete
installation at another time, please run setup again."
In the mean time I cannot access any Open Office documents because my version
3.2 has been rendered inoperable.
I attempted to uninstall 3.2 and show nothing under programs yet still get the
same error message.
I am unable to post this anywhere else as I keep getting that my user name and
password are invalid..
I need these documents to be opened for my tax preparations.
