I have Java 1.6.0_29-b11 installed on my system. I gotthe same results as before. After uninstalling 3.3 no-JRE, I installed 3.1 which was working before, only to find that I have the same document recover/crash/... cycle with 3.1 now. The only difference is that after a system reboot I can often successfully open a document, work on it and save it.
