Bug 118976: Old extensions page needs to redirect to new because extensions
manager coded to use old extensions page
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=118976

------- Additional Comments from T. J. Frazier <[email protected]>
The problems with the Extensions and Templates sites are long-standing and well
known. With a big "Thank you!" to SourceForge, we are solving them *right*.

The *temporary* URL of the Extensions site is:
http://aoo-extensions.sourceforge.net/
This temporary link can also be found on the main page of the site
(www.openoffice.org), which will be kept reasonably up-to-date. Another
temporary new link for the Templates site is expected soon.

The built-in Extension Manager does not know this, and cannot access the site
correctly until the redirects are done. This will happen when we are satisfied
that everything is working well. *You* can help with this, by logging in and
seeing that you can do what you would expect. Please report troubles either
here on this issue, or on the ooo-dev or ooo-users mailing lists.

Access to the Extensions site will be critical for the impending release of AOO
3.4. All extensions must be reinstalled in that version. (The EM code has been
radically simplified and cleaned up, but the change is not
backward-compatible.) You can wait until the release is out, or download the
.OXT files now, and use the EM "ADD..." dialog to install them later. The .OXT
files themselves should be completely compatible, with the usual caveats about
interface changes.
