Next, I uninstalled only MSVC++ 9.0.30729, which was installed by OOo 3.3 Then I installed AOO 3.4 over OOo 3.3. This time, the installation went through. But no MSVC++ Redistributable was installed by AOO 3.4!! Conclusion: - AOO 3.4 DevSnapshots-Rev.1293550 installation fails on clean systems, where NEITHER OOo 3.3 is installed NOR an MSVC++ 9.0.30729 Redistr. - The installation does work on a system, where OOo 3.3 (or maybe parts thereof) is installed, even though there is no MSVC++ 9.0.30729 version installed and though a call to "unopkg sync" obviously needs it and fails. But the call is not fatal for the installation process under these circumstances.
