--- Comment #9 from mgaertne <[email protected]> ---
I was able to replicate the bug on
OpenOffice 3.4.0 (Build 9590)
Mac OS 10.7.4

Steps:
* Create a slide show in Impress
* Open the slide trnasitions
* Pick "Other Sound..." from the Sound drop-down list in the "modify
transition" section
* Pick any sound file (I tried MP3 and WAV files, both with the same results)
* "No sound" as initially chosen will be selected in the drop-down box.

I also did some follow-up testing using different sounds before choosing "other
sound" from the drop-down. Afterwards the drop-down selection went back to the
initial selection, i.e. "apert" if that happened to be selected before.

While investigating further I noticed that the files that I chose in the file
picker were indeed added to the "Sound" drop-down, but not selected. As this
happened to several of the testers here, this behavior seems to be confusing
for the user, and it seems to work differently on Linux as by the initial
report.
