Note in version 3.4 there isn't a “Courier”, Century Schoolbook L or URW Bookman L fonts as given by the original reporter Jaakov. First Steps taken: 1. Create “Empty Presentation” using the default wizard. 2. Select “Next” then “Next” then “Create”. 3. Select “Centred Text” under Master Pages. 4. Left click on “Click to add test” 5. Type “a ║b” ( Note, “║” is a Special Character obtained by going to Insert > “Special Character” > Select “Box Drawing” under the Subset drop down menu. ║is identified as U + 2551.) 6. Select “a ║b” and change Font name and size; 7. Select “Courier New” under Font Name 8. Select “10” under Font Size 9. Push the F5 key for slide view. Result: Couldn't replicate bug. Went through the steps 1-9 respectively except selecting different font types; Arial, Centuary, Times New Roman, Verdana and 10 other random font types; couldn't replicate the bug. Did run the same steps last night managed to replicate a discrepancy between Normal and Slide show view, not as depicted by Jaakov. I didn't get a ' the U+2551 special character turned into a solid bar in Slide Show view, see attached. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
