In this case, just like in all the other bug I quote in comment 1 , we have failed to find a root cause and a fix (I mean: asking the user to remove registrymodifications.xcu is no fix at all, nor a workaround). The user removes registrymodifications.xcu, then AOO does not crash anymore.
