There is apparantly a nasty bug in how LO and AOO pre 3.5 interparates the ODF
spec for svg graphics. This has been resolved in LO 3.5.3+ and will cause
incompatiblity between LO and AOO:

Files saved in LO 3.5.3+ will not open correctly in AOO.
