The principles are: - Objects have styles - Styles have parent styles - Attributes not defined at the object are taken from the style - Attributes not defined in the style are taken from the partent chain of the style - Attributes not defined in that hierarchy are taken from a pool default To create a new style there are several ways, You may create from object (see Styles Dialog), you may copy an existing sytle. To assign,open styles dialog (F11), select shape(s), double-click wanted style in dialog. For some objects (e.g. measure objects) an own default style is used.
