Then go to the find record and select the last record button (>|), then select the back to begining button (|<) then do the search the record search works normal. Also, the same with selecting search backwards. This works all the time. Years ago, this same bug was in OOo, and it had someting to do with the search pointers not being initalized or reset back to first record.
