All components of Open Office ver 3.4.1 crash immediately or within 15 seconds
of opening any document. Having used Open Office for several years under
Windows XP, I have never had this problem before. I am running Windows 7 Home
Premium on a new Dell XPS8300 core i7, 12GB mem, 64 bit operating system. I
have many files in both word processing and spreadsheets, none of which will
now stay open without crashing. I have deleted and reloaded Open Office, but
the problem continues. Open Office is now essentially unusable.
